Bali Rose of SharonAlso known as "Althea", these plants are grown as large shrubs or small trees and are popular for their 3 4" diameter flowers which appear from June into September in our area. 'BALI' produces gorgeous large, showy, semi double WHITE flowers with a bold CRIMSON center. Rose of Sharon is cold hardy as far north as Ohio and Michigan. Plants leaf out very late in the Spring sometimes not until early May in our area.
